Givi Top box

After reading several posts in here and elsewhere, I took what was the most common advice contained and purchased a Givi branded top box to go on the beemer. I ordered it while in Sydney last week and had hoped that it would be ready to fit to the bike before returning. As luck would have it on that last trip, it didn't arrive in time. Hence, they posted it to me here in Melbourne with it arriving on friday. I ended up with the 45 litre box, as the other looked either too small to be practical, or too big and cumbersome for the "little" beemer. At first appearance I think I chose correctly with it looking like it will suit my needs space wise, without being overly big and ugly....well as unugly as hard plastic boxes bolted to a motorcycle can be!!!

Apparently a full face lid will fit in it. All up including the mounting rack, plate and box delivered to my door $440 from Bike Biz in parramatta. Everyone else wanted to charge me between $600 and $700 for the set-up???

So i was pleasantly surprised at their prices!!!!!

I bought a few other things while there, just cause the spares/accessories guys looked after me! Good service, pleasant friendly and willing to do a deal! Plus they followed through on all the promises once the box arrived from the supplier. (that was the only bad bit, the supplier stuck the box in snail mail to get it to Bikebiz. Once they had it it was here next day literally!)

So the challenge draws nearer then, as an aside to make it slightly fairer on the hoff, perhaps you have Gosling as a pillion rather than the good wife Marty? Can't hurt rear wheel traction either having alump like that on the back

Already spoken for....I told Hoffy I would keep a slab of Bicardi Breezers on ice in the top box to quench that big thirst he builds up chasing the flying marshmallow down the old rd during the Hi-Vis vest challenge!!!!!!

It was you, was it? I really hate packing those things. I hope you took time to appreciate how nicely it was packed before you ripped off the plastic

How does it attach to the bike?
are they model specific or do you just buy a mounting plate for the type of bike you own?
do Givi have a website?
is this too many questions?
how many questions are too many?
if it was't too many before is it too many now?
how about now?
