				Awright all !
Well, Being the newbie I am, I am chuffed with myself for passing the Learners Practical last weekend (Yay!)
Just got my theory test next week, then I'm ready for a life of freedom!

(Well, a life at officialy 80Kmh max anyway

, how many of you stuck to that ?? Like, do the cops worry if they see you at 110Kmh on the Highway ??)
I'll be ready to roll in the next couple of weeks, and was wondering if anyone went out as a newbie group, to get some experience together ??
Don't want to hold up the experienced groups, and don't want to feel pressure to ride above my limits

Cheers.
Kwakka

Congrats mate. Good to see you have a sensible head on your shoulders, riding within your limits is the key to safe riding.

Great news... one step at a time & you will get there, you dont want to get booked at this early stage

good luck with the rest of the testing

Good work Jock, thats the way mate. If the coppers see you riding at 110 with a big 'L' on the back of your bike, you might be in a spot of bother......
Heh did you know that on the Scottish penny, the "Brittania" on the reverse side is wearing sunglasses ? Yes, its in the unlikely event that the penny was taken from the Scot's pocket in daylight......

Don't worry mate, the first weekend I had my L's I went out on the Old Road with this lot. They're a great bunch and will look after you. Even tho I was riding way back at my limits, some of these guys took turns hanging back with me so I wasn't on my own, keeping an eye on me. Def a good group of peeps to ride with... They even had a few 'hot tips' on improving riding skills.

Seriously tho the guys will take care of you up there, hey we all started somewhere and the advise you get off other riders the better you are. Sounds like you head is kinda screwed on the right way,

having said that why are you here

agreed, take it easy, dont feel compelled to take anyone on or play catchup. worst case scenario they'll regroup, go "wtf happened to x-y-z?" and one will turn back and you'll see them coming the other way

.

Depending on where you is at, the Gang of Four like to take a run out to Narellan via Silverdale most sundays. (great Eggs Benedict!)

Trust me, I am the biggest safety nana and am not a particularly fast rider (as the Friday night crew know), so I'm happy to keep with you. PM me if you want the details (that goes for anyone)
