in time inches from my bike and then continued as if nothin happend, well
the thoughts flooded my head, its only a matter of time b4 some one
realy takes me out so take care, man theres no teachin em theyl neva
learn there is more of them an only a few of us. Take care Take care

Good advice Adel - you just can't take anything for granted on the road and it pays to always be vigilant...

When I left the UK in March, the reat mobile phone debate had been running for well over a year. You would go on to he UK bike forums and at least once a week there would be a 'car driver on phone nearly took me out' thread.
It is pretty much my own pet hate

Adel this a regular occurance for me, I mentioned that i had taken to punching the drivers window just near their ear to make them aware of my presence and i am sure some of them have gone to the mechanic to find out what the loud banging sound was because they where still way too busy on the phone to notice me.
someone mentioned to me that this could be called road rage so i have stopped doing it but dont take for granted what their indicaters are doing and make eye contact or just dont get that close to them.
The dayglo green/yellow shirts seem to help heaps too they can see you on the moon with one of these on.

It f_ _kin happend again today second time in less than a f_ _ kin week

could it be my
riding or somethin in the air that thy smell that makes em go to sleep,
this stupid bitch makin a rite turn and Im approchin on the opposite side
shes waitin for me to approch then dicides to turn infront of me when ther
is only 50 metres left between me an the her car

whats worse than
that is she stops dead infront of me

she musta paniced so I had
no choice but to apply brakes and Im sure every one knows the feeling
when a bike goes from side to side when brakes are slamed well you got
no choice but to wait for that moment for when the bike just goes ova it
makes you shit bricks thats exactly what happend to me but managed to control it, then she takes
off and I afta her, caught up and went off at her but she had the decency
to say sorry how ever somethin got to be done about this neg drivin
toward riders, I am sick of it surely somethin can be done to make this lot
to b aware of the dangers that lay ahead o Im so
mad

sounds like a bad week mate......hopefully it will be over soon. It just means you *always* need to be on your toes, don't expect any help from cagers, they are not looking for you........
Maybe a Hi-Vis vest would help ?? I hear that most of the Soft Bot Bot Crew are wearing them these days ??

I was told diong my rider training "Look at the driver not the car" this has saved my ass more than once!
It amazing what people do in their cars on the way to work Reading papers, laptops make up and the street directory is always trouble, they turn first look second and indicate third.
Take care peoples!!!!

Mate of mine gave me a good tip, ride in the right hand lane and look at the drivers side mirror, when/if they use it then they'll be aware of you, until then, assume yourself invisible.
