New Tread For The GPX - Not impressed

OK, after putting in some emails and getting one return call from Matt and a ball park price on a set of tyres for the GPX at Sportsbike Tyres, I decided to see about another place due to Sportsbike Tyres location, so I rang Sharp Tune who gave me a quote on a comparable set of tyres for $80 less than Sportsbike and as they are on the way to work this sounded pretty good, but as Sportsbike are a sponsor I decided to see if Matt could come to the party a little and so I sent an email to him with the type and price that I had been quoted and also included in the email my mobile number for him to call, and nothing for over a week, I decided that I couldn't hang around waiting for him to get back to me, so I started to look around, and came across a neat little setup out in Mulgrave called Pablos, spoke to the owner there and he told me that the tyres that were on the GPX wern't factory size but he had the right ones on the shelf, when I asked about the price he was cheaper than Sharp tune, so as it turns out I went to pablos and am really happy with the service and the tyres that I got. I would recommend anyone check them out and see.

BTW
Front $105
Rear $130
$30 for fitting and balance

P.S. he also had a couple of race bikes in the shop, all of which had the company logos on them.

Good find there mobile :D Service counts for everything if I don't get the service they don't get my money..... also counts for work & there is nothing like spending $1000's on equipment then telling the guy that never got back to you that he would have got the sale if he wasn't so fu..king lazy & slow with a quote....for most quotes on stuff if I don't get a response within 24 hours I call & ask to speak to the Managing Director (go right to the top) & it amazing the response you can get when when the MD realizes that his staff are letting him down... they don't give a shit but you can bet he does! :?

Pablos have been well known for a while Mobile, used to be in Canterbury or Box Hill (I think) then moved to Mulgrave, an MRA sponsor, ie you get a 10% discount if you're an MRA member :D

I used Pablo's when I lived in Melbourne, gave them a good report here years ago. They originated in Richmond.
