APRIL 28-29 !!! YES THIS WEEKEND !!!!
The Suzuki Classic Dirt 4 event is shaping up to be the biggest weekend for old dirt bikes in the southern hemisphere. There will be *hundreds* of pre-1985 solo and sidecar dirt bikes on the famous Broadford GP Motocross track on the weekend of 28/29 April - THIS WEEKEND !!!
You'll see them all - Bultaco (go Stace !!), BSA, Cotton, CCM, CZ, DKW - all the way through to Zundapp, plus all the brands that still exist today.
The event is presented by VMX magazine and Suzuki Australia. More that just a race weekend, CD4 is a chance to bring your old dirt bike for a few laps and enjoy the company of hundreds of other old dirt bike fans.
As well as the riding component, there will be some very special guests attending this event. Flying in from the USA are "Bad" Brad Lackey, the 1982 world 500cc MX GP Champion, and Rick "Super Hunky" Sieman
, the infamous founding editor of Dirt Bike magazine (US). There will be plenty of old Aussie MX legends there as well.A huge swapmeet, trade stands, Lee Hogan riding school on the Friday, on-site entertainment on the Saturday night, and it is a 'must-see' event for anyone with an interest in old-school dirt bikes. On-site catering will also be available all weekend.
