Got a new toy :D :D :D
What will end up being my next race bike an 05 ZX-10R

Have been hunting around for a while & the perfect bike came up!

Not so bad points:
Plastics damaged... dont need them anyway race glass will be fine
Bent subframe... replacement will be in order
Damage to radiator from fairing... replacement will be in order
Ding in tank LHS... so off to the panelbeaters
Forks twisted slightly... should fall back into place when bolts are cracked open, have done this before with other bikes with good results, if still out of place will send em off to be done
RH rearset needs replacing... will keep original to begin with

Good points:
Low KMS ... basically just run in
No major damage just cosmetic
Bargain price
Will end up Kwaka green
Exciting project

ULTIMATE streetfighter project!!!!

Seems a great buy! How many Big Mac's did it cost, if you don't mind me asking? Get it from an auction? Classed as a repairable/ statutory write-off?

Oh, I have a full stock exhaust with 10k km on it if you are interested.

  was waiting for the question from you Dave .... Keeping the 750 for the road only! & i have had big un's (race bikes) before just not like this!
Its going to be a learning curve but thats what its all about

Deafwish It Def wont be a road bike...just a track / race bike ...I could be interested in the pipe mate ... the original pipe has 1 small scratch on it but will prolly be ditched for a better one later :D
The bike was classed as a repairable write-off & the cost was 6.5K which considering the low K's Not too shabby :D

good sh!t rob!!!
exciting times ahead huh.

Did you get the bike through fowles auctions or something?
Im thinking seriously about doing something similar ie buy a crashed bike and turn it into a track weapon.

That wouldn't be the one M/C Disposals had on their website, would it?

Be interested to hear how much you picked it up for... if that's the sort of info you'd be prepared to share, of course...

6.5K they would not budge as it was the owner & not an insurance co.
