Is that a NSW rule? Cause I have a full car licence...Technik wrote:...luckily don't have to display the P as I have a full car driver licence.
You also have to be over 30 years old, I think that's the minimum age for unrestricted.Gonzo wrote:Is that a NSW rule? Cause I have a full car licence...Technik wrote:...luckily don't have to display the P as I have a full car driver licence.
But that is completely unrestricted. You can ride what you like and take a pillion. It's just a straight open bike licence if you're over 30. Technik says he still has restrictionsJennysc wrote:You also have to be over 30 years old, I think that's the minimum age for unrestricted.
Ah well there you go then... I turn 30 about one week after I come off my P's lol I guess I'll have to keep the harassment magnet on thenJennysc wrote:I've just got off my L's 6 weeks ago and I am on a full riders license, can get any bike I want but can't pillion for 12months.
I'm originally from Victoria, did my test in Melb. Unfortunately there is no mature rider exemption in Vic, 250cc and pillions restrictions still apply for the first 12 months except there is no requirement to display the P plate.Gonzo wrote:But that is completely unrestricted. Yeah, that's been running thro my head Neka. With the stats saying all these ppl out are there getting licenses and buying new scooters and bikes - I sure as hell don't see many L's or P's on two wheels in the traffic. Which has me thinking - "am I the only clown doing it..."? I'd be lucky if I saw one other L in the morning traffic per month.Neka79 wrote:...well dont mate..
