Not a bad yarn. Would be better if it was true.

it is true, you guys need to watch troys story, some great footage of early aussie stuff.

i remember watching him at bathurst on a zzr600 in 94, the guy is a legend.

Ahhh i'm gunna rock the boat here .... but I don't like Troy ... it's not that I dislike him much either. I just can't really tell. Bloody good rider,, but just not the most media/camera savvy guy.

and you lot are all soo good looking

so steve, you said you dont like him but cant really tell why. let me tell you, I have met him and he is a really nice guy - then again you prolly wouldnt like me - i'm no oil painting either.......

hard crowd to please you lot.

BTW before the island ol rubes (xaus) was just another rider. he was very friendly and really nice to me, it is also clearly eveident that he and troy have a genuine friendship - clearly evident on sunday night, after ruben won the first person to pull up and congratulate him was troy bayliss - i'm now a bit of a fan of the spider man.

Yeah, I noticed the congrats from Troy to Rueben, and also in the post race interview, Bayliss said Xaus was back where he belonged (or words to that effect) at the front.

Interestingly though, wasn't it Xaus who punted him off at one of the brittish rounds in 2002 when he was defending his title, he wound up with some busted ribs which affected his run home in the last few races.
