nice bike, the only problem i can forsee in the near future is that the position of "non kawasaki scapegoat" is now up for grabs.

Somehow i think i might have a fighting chance at achieving that title.

well i dunno if u noticed, but the bars were ordered red, and are more of a pink...i was considering putting a few nice pink neons on it..just for affect...

theres still a huge list of wants-

PC3
Air filter
Bellypan
Carbon covers
Polished brake fluid caps & bar clamp cap

but its another $2500 or so worth, so it can wait till ive paid some of it off (and the credit card)

the flat bars gave a few probs as the clutch/brake lever sit SO close to the headlight shroud... we had to use spacers to lift it abt 5mm ...but it feels so much cooler to ride...

well its starting to look like a real bike now. !!

Here is what I said back on 16th March .......

"..........WTF ??!!! Great stuff mate, now treat that baby with some Aretha !!

it'll be blinged to hell and back within 3 months..........."

well, its certainly on the way !!

I quite enjoyed the test-fang on the Z1000 I did a few years ago - it had just been released, and had only been in the shop about a week, I took it for my normal test-loop of about 45-odd km, and got booked coming back through Struggletown !!! It still had the dealer plate on the back  and I remember freakin' out about it - first time around here that the new Z1000 had been pulled over by the Bronze !!! It all turned out OK though ...

It was a nice bike to ride, I just found it a bit small physically  , but handled *great*, went hard enough and was enjoyable to ride.
