My gf keeps telling me that i love my bike more than here so she thinks i have a addiction the first step for recovery is admitting that i have a problem.

My name is Malcolm and I am a bikeaholic. I have been riding for nearly 2 yrs now and i cant stop it. everytime i get on my bike i get a high that no other can give me besides a root. yesterday i did not ride my bike and i started to get the shakes and felt down but today after riding, i am happy again.
i dont care what the gf says coz i know i have an addiction to bikes and i dont think there will ever be a cure for me.

who else here is a bikeaholic?

Hi my name is Mel and I too am a bikeaholic.

Riding is my favourite thing. I sold my car because it was just taking up room in the driveway, it never got driven.

No, I'm not a bikeaholic....I can stop anytime I want...I just don't want to stop right now...but if I did I could stop whenever I like...no really I could...why are you looking at me like that?...do you know where the nearest bike shop is?...spare me change for a bike magazine?...can I just sit on it and make broom broom noises?

Bike-a-holic... who me? Since passing my road test longest I've been without a bike is 5 months, and then my wife made me go and buy one. I now have two, but wouldn't pass up the option for a third and fourth.

Until recently I also had 4 push bikes in the shed, but sold three of them so I could get in the door!

My wife also has two motorbikes and a push bike, and both the kids have two push bikes each - I need a bigger shed!!!

I can't wait for the day when all four of us have road bikes, track bikes and dirt bikes. Anyone know of a really well paid desk job I can slide into - I think I'm going to need it!

considering i nearly broke down and cried in the orthopedic surgeons office this morning when he told me it would be at least 8 weeks untill i could ride again, i guess that means i'm afflicted too.

then again, i have already started panning little get-to-know-you rides around the block in about 3-4 weeks
