They do. I believe they're calling it the XR1200 (I have a recent issue of Pom Bike in which they do a short launch report on it). Still has all the power-to-weight problems of a regular Sportster 1200.

Yep, wouldn't pull your brother off your sister I.K.! But as you probably can guess, it's not the reason I like it. It's the whole Jay Springsteen thing! It's so nostalgic for an old skid like me! Plus who needs more than 50hp anyways!

I'd still be slow no matter what I rode, but at least on that I'd look really cool doing it!!!!

looking closer at the pic,

comes with some gooddies for a hardly...
-upside down forks
-sticky tyres
-light wheels (as apposed to spoked ones)
-reasonable brakes

and a fairly short swing arm.

i know it dont have huuuge power, but its probly fun to punt!

its missing all the bits that drag on normal harleys.

Has a hint of those "On Any Sunday" era lines, although I bet it's slow and heavy as shit.

Bring on the classic race standards though, uncomplicated motorcycling at its best.

Lol, I find it hard to believe that harley bashers wish to ride one.

This one isn't bad. It doesn't look like they've compromised everything that makes a bike good.
