InsureMyRide Comprehensive Insurance - what you get:

* We’ll replace your bike - if it’s a write-off, less than a year old and you bought it new. Same deal if it gets pinched and it’s not found
* We’ll also pay all on-road costs
* Or we’ll pay you market value if it’s a write-off. Again, same deal if it’s pinched and not recovered
* Or we’ll make it good as new - if your bike isn’t a write-off, up to the market value
* You can choose the repairer when we give you the OK
* You get a lifetime guarantee on repairs
* Some accessories and modifications can be covered too
* Your bike is covered while being ridden by others though excesses apply
* You’re covered up to $20 million for damage to someone’s property.

You can also choose to cover:

* Your gear - helmet/s, leathers, boots etc. Available in units of $1000 up to a total of $5,000
* Your valuables - sunnies, MP3, laptop and other stuff. Cover $1000 or $2000 worth
* PLUS your gear or valuables are covered for damage or theft even if there is no claim on your bike!

Now, reduce your premium…

There are loads of ways to save with InsureMyRide.

These will start you off:

* First up, we give you 25% off, simply for buying your policy online
* Next there’s NCB (no claim bonus) for up to 65% savings. That’s what you get if you haven’t had an ‘at fault’ claim in five years. It’s 25% for one year, 45% for two, 55% for three and 60% for four
* To reduce your premium even further, you can choose to ‘up’ the standard excess from $400
* Take a recognised defensive riding skills course and your premium’s reduced by another 5%.

PLUS there are loads of other factors we take into account to save you even more:

* The lower the value of your bike, the lower the premium
* Postcodes have an effect too
* Garage your bike every night and it’ll save you $$$
* Finally, some bikes can be cheaper to insure than others

Hmmm, noticed they have no contact no.. :? I have heard of a few off sure insurance companies that are not under governed by the aust insurance rules, therefore they can do what they want when they want. Dont know but could this be one of them. I am even going to give WQBE the boot when mines due, as in one of there clauses it basically says if your bike is knocked off whilst unattended then no coverage.. Seems as though Swann is the way to go from all my research of late.

Suncorp.

It may not be exactly $100...I'll find out when the renewel comes, but I am pretty sure I only pay a bit and a half over $400 at the moment...they were over $500...

NOT BAD AT ALL??? My ass!!!

Mick, mine is just under $500 fully comp with Swann and my bike is newer and I'm younger than you. And NO provisos!

Mal's ZX9 is with Shannon's and he's only held bike insurance for the last 1.5 years and even his isn't that much.

Unless you got a brand spankin new 07 ZX10, I'd be looking into a few extra quotes if I was you. 8)
