I couldn't get to the Island this time around. First SBK meeting I have missed in many years.
How was the atmosphere in Cowes on Fri and Sat nights?
Over the past few years for both the GP and SBK, the party seems to shift to San Remo as the new manager of the Isle of Wight is a knob.
Any burnouts and drunken tomfoolery?

Friday night = nothing eventful. Very quiet indeed.

Saturday night = not a lot at all. They had part of the Esplanade blocked off (near the pub and pier) with a band/DJ playing but there was only a small group of people there.

My boyfriend has been most years and he said compared to previous year this was really quiet indeed. Though we did go early in the night (10ish) so it might have improved.

Neka, you forgot about the crackers and the SP2 VTR1000 that was high sided and trashed on Sunday night- never a boring moment at the camp ground.

Cowes has become so quiet over the years, we didn't bother going there except to get supplies. Should be slightly better for MotoGP.

Sorry I missed it too, it was the first one in about 10 years that I missed.

Great KSRC attendance too, judging by the writes and pics; yeah I usually avoid Cowes too. Lots fun to be had at the camp ground.

Cowes might be a bit quiet (except for anywhere near Boris  ), but there is always some good talent to be seen......

It was a lot quieter this year than last year tho', no Swedish backpackers this time :( ....

If there is likely to be a gathering of KSRC members, I know the San Remo hotel look after everyone really well. I went there to watch the AFL Grand Final and the atmosphere was awesome. Heaps of people, lots of games at the pub and alot of fun.
That is also where quite a bit of talent gets about.

Worth checking out if you are single.........
