Well the Full Akra is on now, haven't had a chance to ride it. but Jason brought up an interesting fact which I hadn't thought of... Re-jetting..
Anyone know what i could be up for? and if I was to do it myself how do I find out what jets to get and is it easy?

You'll probably get away with raising the needles 2 stops
Go the Ivan's jet kit though if you have to........need some time on the dyno to set it up schweet $$$$'s

Best results usually come from an experienced dyno operator that can do a run, change jets, do a run, see difference, change jets, do a run...

With a full akro you shouldn't need rejetting.
You can if you want of course - mine has apparently been rejetted.
However, akro design their systems around a stock tuned engine - getting the best from stock, so really you shouldn't need to.

If it flows better (like it oughta) then you will need to rejet.
When I fitted the full Muzzy on the ZRX it ran sorta OK without a rejet, useable without flatspots or other problems (nasty cackle on overrun tho). Being a slack rs I left it run like that for a couple of weeks - no problem.
HOWEVER then fitted the DynoJet kit (bought with the pipe) and it transformed the thing. Far more urge everywhere, better throttle response and a cooler motor.

WTF is with all the picture posting FFS..
Well I managed to put the fairings back on this morning and take the bike to work, despite seeing a rider dead on the side of the road on my way home last night... wasn't to sure if i would or not.. But the eagerness to hear and feel the bike with the new system was too strong.
Results:
Well the bike has lost is chugg chugg chugg that it had down load around idle and above. Seems to be much more responsive on the throttle from idle and pretty much all round to be honest.
Revs out with ease, and I've picked up on the induction noise. The bike seems to run and sound like it is much tuned were are before I felt that it was running quite rough and almost had a twin sound/feel at times esp down low.
So it's got me wondering, was the stock system always on there, or was it just the bolt-on can that made it run that way...
Certainly happy with it thus far, haven't had a play on the open road, but I'll be on the track on monday (PI) Wohoo!!!
