its always been a sort of known thing
the various plods scan the online forums
...for various things, individuals

Vic Police admitted so yesterday
(it was a car forum) but it also could apply here

Ah come on Smitty, the lovely police officers we have as members here are honest about the job they do, so any officers browsing this forum would see that and bugger off.
Besides regular KSRCians know each other and know that there is alot of bragging and talking up going on here :wink:

I think you'll find they tend to monitor forums for known car clubs that cause regular problems.

ie: get together for a cruise, end up with 100 cars and half of them do burnouts and donuts in shopping centre car parks.

Well that didn't happen on MCCR cruises (or is the occasional one or two cars your idea of half of a hundred?) but the forums still got monitored IIRC. The cops acting like bullies and avoiding more useful but difficult work is a more believable story.

Oh, of course. The cops were browsing a forum for a club who's members don't cause problems. :roll:

Took me about 4 seconds to find a thread on their forum where they claim about 200 cars turned up:
