Cheap MY06 636's?

I just saw posted on another forum that the 06 636 is getting chucked out the door reasonably cheaply. This person claimed to have paid $12,000 On the road. So, If any one is on the hunt for a 600 with a bit more midrange poke, you might wanna go haggle with your local Kawasaki Store. 
I would imagine that with the new one being so different, they would be keen to move the old model, especially considering it's not just a model update, but rather a complete new bike.
