This guy is pretty good with a spanner,he once built a working V6 from two 250 triples in nine hours at a bike show, here's an article on him and the mighty 12.

I saw the 1600cc V8 bike he built in a museum in the states.
He certainly is talented, they look factory built.

I go off mate !!

well the most *extreme* is not that extreme at all really

just the 750 dirtbike, a 500cc 2-stroke dirtbike....
Once I helped a mate build a CR480 trike, now that thing was a weapon

but only in a straight line...
there is someone I admire.....

Repost of the article I slapped up about 2 weeks ago, pretty awesome piece of engineering when ya read the article. I think what Gos posted is however a far better piece of engineering..

I'd need an extensive test ride to verify that.

I wish I could knock up a v12 in the shed after overhearing 2 guys talking about it at a swap meet.
How proud of that would you be?

Time for some seriousity....
Allan Milyard is a dead-set legend, and if you could see the backyard shed he builds his bikes in, well it just confirms his legend status.
As far as other bike builders are concerned, I think John Britten was probably the most gifted designer/builder out there (RIP). I have a poster of one of the first Brittens built, it was just out of this world for something this good to come out of NZ !! (discounting Dragon, Mi-Sex and Sharon O'Neill of course

).
....is that the next bike you want to ride...

I wish !! What a honey.......
