SALE Accommodation

Anyone got a recommendation for somewhere to stay in Sale on the way to the Supers?
Usually stay at the Grand Terminus in Bairnsdale, but we've decided to push on down the road this time.
Note: Must have bike parking & shitloads of beer

I've only stopped there twice. First time I stayed in the motel behind the servo on the corner which wasn't too bad, but I had a farked back and didn't spend any time in the pub.
Second time we stayed at the caravan park a bit down the road and it was a mosquito ridden dump.
It's much more fun going down through the Snowies anyway

The Gippy ( Gippsland Hotel ) on the main drag near Maccas. Great old style pub with nothing pretentious and no poker machines - just a bar, rooms upstairs and a carpark at the rear which gets locked up at night. As for the beer well they do have lots of it and we replaced the beer lines and equipment there less than 12 months ago so it is first rate

bairnsdale is fairly big, i dont think u'll have much problems getting accommdation

As you come outta sale there is a Big 4 caravan park with cabins with ensutie rate is around $55 a nite
bairnsdale side there is the swan and princess but are pricey.
there is also the hacienda end of raymond street its ok i hear.
there is also a pub/hotel just further on from the caravan park it has cheep rooms but cant remember what the name of it was, Warren something i think ill get back to you on that one.
Rosedale is just a few minutes further down the hwy with a nice pub there too but be warned its next to the police stton
