This was posted elswhere but lets get behind theis with some donations people. The ride has been and gone but we can still help them. We are giving $50.00 but a dollar will help them.

Will collect all pledges for money Friday 9th at the Coffee Club Park Rd Milton. Post this elswhere so we can help these people out. I have children and so do alot of you.

Will collect any money this Friday at the Coffee Club and get it to them on Saturday. I will find out where they are and we can all ride there.

Please read the following:

Last week Lilly Howard (no relation), a two year old from Tenterfield, NSW, tragically fell onto a pencil. It pieced her eye socket and embedded itself 8.5 cm into her head and 5.5 cm into her brain.

Due to a ridiculously inefficient New England/Hunter Health System this child was forced to wait six and a half hours at the local hospital (the local staff did amazing work) while being turned away from major health centres like Tamworth.

She finally was transported to Brisbane by road as the weather prohibited air flight.

She is now in the Mater Hospital fighting like a true champion.

To add insult, New England/Hunter Health won't foot the Ronald McDonald House accommodation bill - due to bureaucratical crap, to help her parents stay by her side.

Needless to say the town was outraged and has pulled together.

The local bike club is putting on a poker run to raise funds.

All who would like to attend can meet at "Burgers on Rouse" (Northern end of the main street of Tenterfield) this Sat, 3rd Feb at 11 am daylight saving time.

The run will finish around 2 pm at the Commercial Hotel with a BBQ, trophies, prizes etc.

The little girl has been in Intensive care for a month now and a couple of operations. They are down to their last couple of bucks.

They really need all the help they can get. It cost about 350.00 a week to stay at Ronald Macdonald house. Plus their other bills dont stop. Lets hel; out folks.

Go and talk to your boss and get them to donate as well.

Well I can't sorry to say EVERY cent I have goes on solicitor's cost for my own kids as much as I feel for this family
