Just got back from a bit of a ride today. Left Benalla, Myrtleford, Bright, Mt Beauty, Falls creek. Turned around, back to Mt Beauty for lunch, different way back to Myrtleford, and home back to Benalla.
9 mins of twisties sounds nice after doing a couple of hours of em

One takes it you have never been North SnypR ?
You may find there is a little bit more than 9 minutes worth up around Cairns north and west as well...
Good to see there is still only one bit of armco (and no cheesecutter) too.
I think the armco is where that schoolbus went over all those years ago.
If you act the goose and hang your ars off on the outside you can see over the edge to the bottom.... kewl

The kuranda range sees alot more cars, taking away alot of the fun, but if you travel south from there down the inland roads there are some fantastic long high speed sweepers and another range. Watch out for the boys in blue through the little towns. It hurts when you get nailed in one of the 60k zones. Trust me

Its possible; I've never really thought about exactly where that happened. I thought there was a cairn.
I still remember the political feeding frenzy that was the service.
