What a shat night.......
I went on the Netrider (commonly known as Netnoob) Mystery Cruise tonight:
Just before the roundabout at the Spirit of Tasmania, my bike started hesitating and moments later, lost all power.
I frigged around with the run/ kill switch and tried switching the ignition on & off, whilst coming to a hault.
When I stopped i smelled raw fuel. Real fuggin bad!
I looked down to find about 5 litres of fuel, puddled under my bike and more fuel gushing off my engine! Faaaaark!
With my brain in overdrive, I finally decided to switch the ignition off, which would shut down the fuel pump.
I jumped off the bike and ran to the grass, expecting a nice little bonfire!
For some bizzare reason, the bike did not catch alite!
Woot!
Kawasaki has some stupid fuel valve thing that is so freakin difficult to remove (for when you remove the tank) that when I fitted my Power Commander on Tuesday, I lifted the tank and didn't remove it because of this ghey valve. I tried for over an hour to remove the poxy thing!
It decides on the Mystery Ride to now detatch itself from the tank and spray fuel everywhere......
I managed to clip the fuel line back in get myself home.
I think I should get off the computer and go buy a Tatts ticket!
Hopefully next week will be more enjoyable and less eventful!
