I've been on the advanced course - at Oran Park.
Well worth going to - great instructions, lots of track time interspered with useful theory.
I did a report sometime back I think - I'll see if I can find it.
It's worth the money - do it.

I've done the Stayupright Advanced course and the Superbike school (levels 1-3).

After completing the Stayupright course I felt that it was good value for money, but I wasn't sure that it lived up to it's title. I felt that it really was more of an intermmediate course. It covers cornering, observational skills, emergency braking and low speed manouvering. You're not going to pick up too many "advanced" skills in several disciplines in a single day.

Later, I completed level 1 of Superbikes, and felt more satisfied. It's a longer day than the Stayupright course and concentrates on cornering technique. Level 2 is dedicated to observational skills, Level 3 looks at more advanced cornering techniques and body positioning.

I'd recommend trying level 1 of the Superbike course. Yes, it's more expensive but I personally got more out of level 1 than the Stayupright course.

I'll admit I concur with the last comment - having also done the superbike school.
If you can't afford the superbike school though I consider StayUpright the next option in line.

I have done the stay upright course at Broady years ago, as have I done SBK School, yet i have diferent thought to you guys.

I preferred the stay upright course. It had more one on one instruction from the coaches, and loads less theory couple with more practical lessons. They taught me to lock my front wheel at 100kph and stay upright. It's saved me a million times since then. It also taught more skills which I wanted to be taught, rather than having to stick to a rigid indoctrinated process driven day, where every thing was according to the code way!

Dunno about now, but back when I did it, Stay Upright had some top notch A graders as coaches. They are the guys I want to learn from. It's no good being able to know the lines and see through the turns without knowing how to get it through in practice. I came away dropping over 3 seconds a lap back then! Not sure how they work it nowadays, but if they still use racers as coaches, I'd be booking in for sure. :)
