This is obviously a TV comercial produced in Britain along the same lines of our TAC reality type ads.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Victorian Government used our $50.00 a year to produce something more like this than the crap " put yourself in the motorcyclists place" ad.

If you haven't seen this before it will certainly make you cringe the first time. I will warn that it is a motorcyclist getting T Boned at an intersection and might be a little too graphic for some to whom this may be very close to home.
Needless to say it would certainly shock your average motorist into at least thinking a bit more about bikes

It is so important that we take some responsibility to position ourselves in the lane and do out best to make sure we are seen, and If we have any doubts about the driver, set up & squeeze godammit !

I had a guy the other day creeping out on me, so I stopped the bike before his car and waved him through. *HE* was at a stop sign and *I* had right of way but fuck it, I wasn't taking the risk....I then proceeded to give him the royal wave as he took out from the side road and dragged the front of his car over the median strip as he was looking at me and not where he was going. Lets just say, He'll be needing a new front bumper

yea that was goin around here a few years back..i reckon its a good way to shock ppl into pulling their heads in!!
