got a phone call yesterday and the doctor has confirmed that Nic's father will be expected pass away soon and he is in a stage that who's unable to eat and drink.

does anyone here know or work in a travel agent? as she needs an air ticket to fly overseas

Dont use quantas!.... but yeah..... ring Flightcentre.... they usually have close to the best prices...

You could try searching for last minute flights, some of these websites specialist in selling seats the airlines couldn't shift, and so are cheap. try here

Where is she flying ? Anywhere to 'asia hub' like singapore/hong kong would be easy and can be direct too..

yeah HK, she's got something for friday i think but return is impossible for the whole feb due to chinese new year, but god knows how long she'll have to spend over there

It's good she got a flight wish it was under different circumstances though. Sadly she may need to be there the whole of February anyway but if not perhaps they can pop her on a standby list? If she needs to get home sooner

thats bad news mate, sorry to hear....

if it helps, sumtimes it does , if u tell the company why u need a flight they can sumtimes pull sumthin for u...if u ask for a compasionate flight...

i got one when my nan passed away and i had to fly to syd, tho i emailed Qantas and they got me on a "full" flight at the cheapest rate they had ....
