binding break lever

hey guys
wondering if any 1 has experianced this b4 my break lever is binding so instead of a smooth motion to pull the lever in it feels notchy then once past the notch the lever goes to the next notch which is then to much break and so the cycle goes (can be quiet scary at walking speeds when the front dives)
the bike in question is a 03 6r
any help will be greatly appriciated

i have the same thing on my rgv250M, except it only notches once and it can be big, its seriously annoying, and would be dangerous if a rider didnt know about it.
Its not a brake fluid issue, i think its the Orings or whatever they use on the master cylinder. It dosent happen for me all that often, but its enough that i should get it fixed. generally i just smoothly squeeze the lever, and if i build up a largish amount of pressure and it hasnt jumped past it, i'll back off a tiny bit and go again, all this happens really fast tho, and its stupid, i should fix it.
But yeah, not brake fluid, if i take mine apart anytime soon i'll let u know what i find.

just put some grease in the back of the master cyl with a toothpick/something long and pointy. A quick fix is just to use a chain lube can with the spray nozzle and put it down the back of the cyl and give it a squirt.

Cath's old 6 used to do this too, and was temporarily corrected by greasing the pin on which it pivots. It's a scary feeling pulling on that lever, isn't it?

yeah it is alittle scary when the front decides it wants to dive down really quick or it just dont stop !
i have tried the oiling the pin and it seemed to work for a day then problem back again!!!
its really weird might have to pull the lever apart or something on the weekend and greese everything up properly

Could be caliper slides sticking! Remove your calipers, push out the slides and clean regrease with hi temp brake grease and refit. About an hours worth and voila, smooth as a bubbies bum!!!
Oh, it could also just be shitty fluid! Give it a flush with some new stuff. They like new stuff brakes do!
