Wedding anniversary

Tomorrow (7th Jan) my parents will have been married for 39 years
That's no small achievement these days...

It was Ros and my 19th on the 3rd of Jan.
After the last few years I wasn't 100% sure we'd make it...
...but here we are, slightly more wiser and a bit the worse for wear, but here none the less
.
If we make 20 I'll take her away somewhere. I was thinking NZ or Fiji, but I'd settle for Broome or the Whitsundays

My grandparents on both sides managed 60+ years of marriage before my grandfathers passed away, but Nan & Gran are still plodding along. I think Gran will be 90 this year. My parents are almost at 40, and I'm just about to reach the dizzy heights of 12.

My parents thought about getting married but opted out of it..Why ruin a good relationship with a piece of paper I guess.
