Can a GT550 tow a GN250? Yes it can! :)

It takes me ages to pack up the bike trailer with two bikes (towed by the car) when I work outta town. Been thinking how much easier it would be if I could tow a bike with a bike. Did it this morning. Took the tub off my trailer and chucked the GN on the back.
Needs a lot of 'optimising'. It's a bit on the scary side. I think a lot of towbar flex was happening. I'm not sure 100km/h would be achievable either.
Might be a candidate for a Darwin award if I get it wrong.

can the trailer "turn" on the towball enough for corners? I assume you can get a 30 degree left/right, but would it go up to 50 degrees either way?

I was until I rode it. Need to play with tyre pressures and towbar mounting. (stiffer setup) Gotta mod chassis of trailer slightly to stop flex of the chequerplate front. Might be a goer with some work. I'm sure ZZR would tow it better with more power and heavier towing bike but would defeat the purpose- to save time and money. (bike should be cheaper to tow with than car but ZZR costs more to run than my Hyundai which I usually tow bikes with. Tyres are the killer expense. Brake rotors come a close second on ZZR.)
I you imagined the biggest pillion you could have jumping up and down on the seat and upsetting the balance with the front wheel getting light as it happened you'd be pretty close.

The hitch pivots 360 degrees so theoretically I can end up on my head with the trailer tracking OK down the road. :?

Reckon......should be good for promotion of my business around town though. Stick some signs on it and some wheel arches too. Only 6 screws to attach the tub to the trailer so easy to take it on and off. :D
Must be the funny angle, or lens of my camera phone, but the picture makes the GN look heaps bigger than the GT.

Ok, that puts the theory that the GN is not as big as it seams
