I'll kick it off.....
Jan 06, crashed my road bike at QR...FIRST EVER CRASH!!
Session 2 T3 ran out of rear grip, too much enthusiasim, ended up unloading myself onto the track while my bike highsided itself.
July 06, at MP, have track only bike now with freshly painted race fairings and slicks with warmers. Session 2 T3, grabbed a handfull of brake to avoid a collision with a slower rider wobbling into my path while i was already 90% committed to the turn.
Oct 06, QR final round of the MC spotsmen champs. Race glass and tank repainted again. Session 2 T2 of free practice on saturday. Turned in too early and lay the bike on the ripple strip at 160kph unloading the front and sending me and bike sliding off the track into the gravel trap.
Its been expensive, its been painful, but I've come through it in one piece and learned from it.
Bring on 07!
Where i hope to crash less.

As a few of you may know by now, end of April '06, the great Putty incident occured.
Not only involving myself, but 3 others, and ended with a pile of molten metal, fused into the middle of the road. The unfortunate ones got a flight in the Westpac and a high dose of the YEAH MAN gear.
Three '9s and a ZRX1200 went to the great Kawasaki graveyard in the sky that day (twas a most sad day).
I will post the ride report on the anniversary I think, until then this is what can happen when ya have a lapse in concentration................
Be careful out there, it happens to the best of us...............

Damon, you frig bikes WAY better than me too, I am almost embaressed to post my 'o6 effort.
ZX12R, last ride before I handed the licence in, road works and a moment of "I know boats" followed by a moment of "Oh shit" and a lot of cartwheeling at *illegal* speeds.

if you were moving at the time & scratched something other than your nose when you stopped, yes.
Otherwise it's just f*ing unlucky.

Had a minor on the way to GOR somewhere near the start of the year, dropped it in the gravel after a valient effort to stop before running out of road. With 20/20 hindsight I should have just got off the brakes and turned in - but hey, shit happens. Minor damage that polished out and a dent in the can.
Dropped it again in May, doing a slightly better job. 4am on the way to work, found a 70kph corner laced with diesel. From turn in to "Oh Fark!!!" in no time flat. Bust left fairings, top fairing, usual indicator/mirror etc. Didn't manage the write off, but it was close. No personal injury on either, except a little bruising. The little bruising eventually spread from the arch of my left foot to half way up my left thigh, and was as black as the ace of spades...

QLD state champs in june.
Highside at turn 4 after suspension adjustment between races left me with a lack of rear grip. Back end was spinning up on just about every corner but pushed it too far on this corner trying to get a run out of 5 for a pass.
Have lots of protection on the bike so got off pretty lightly.
