Ok, ok so it's not a Kwaky but I brought it for racing. I've been talking about for racing for so long now that the wife told me to get on with it before I'm too ancient

Very different but at the same time surprisingly similar
Power delivery is very different, more linear and with mucho engine braking...handling and riding position are very similar.

I'll be competing in the new 'Twin Sprint' budget class in Victoria....can't wait for Feb

hey they are all track bikes
We wouldnt risk our lovely Kwakas on a track (and it emabaresses everyone when you blast past)
But if you drop you trackie its only a crappy *insert other brand here*

Excellent, I am sure it will look the goods when you set her up ...
One of my mates has an SV650, he raves about the bloody thing, it has enough mumbo for him, apparently handles really well, etc. I have not ridden it yet, maybe I should hit him up for a ride......
Good luck with the racing next year, take it easy for the first couple of sessions, it will take time to build your speed up, but more importantly, to find the limits of the bike (without crashing), and then ride within those limits as quickly as possible. See if you can get Strika to help you set the bike up for racing, he knows a thing or 2 about bike set-up....
