Silly season tin top tools.

Just a little reminder to give the tin tops some extra room this time of year. They tend to get a little excited and do shit like spend lots of time on the wrong side of the road.

Yesterday, Had I a front tyre that was serviceable, I was going to escort a mate of mine up into the hills, as he commenced day one of his two day journey to Sydney. I am now glad I didn't, or it may be my bike in the wreckers, and me in the horsepiddle!!!!!!!!

Yep, he left his place down south early yesterday, met a mate in Berwick, and headed for the hills up into Cockatoo/gembrook! He made it about 15klms from Berwick, before some innatentive tin topper decided to have his side of the road as well, and hit him and pushed him into the armco.!!!!

He is OK, I spoke to him last night after his mates had taken him to the rubbidy dub to re-oil him. (he sounded in pretty good form on the phone last night!) He dislocated his hip, which htey have put back in, and just has severe bruising on his arm, no breaks or other body damage thankfully.

Hi BRAND NEW (like 1500klms old) GSXR750, is a little unhappy, but he thinks it will be borderline write off.

For once the tin topper did not take off, but rather, pulled up to exchange details and make sure he was OK!!!! A rareity in itself!!!

So, it is the season to be wobbly, so take it handy, and allow loads more margin for error so we can all enjoy our chrissie time Funeral/horsepiddle free!!!!!!!! :)

They're out there. A woman drove straight through a roundabout here yesterday without so much as a glance, let alone a look. Good thing I was watching her. I don't think she touched the brakes either. Days like that I wish I was driving a log truck.

 nice call ....

Yeh Marty, the world is full of idiots rushing around at Xmas time, getting presents they have forgotten, etc etc. Your warning is very timely....

especially with all the Xmas parties happening, more people than normal driving after *having a few* :x

Glad to hear your mate is OK, it could have been heaps worse....

The lady got out of the car and said ....." I didn't see you!" And my materplied rather wittily!!! ..."Shit!!! I am glad you didn't see me!! If you had seen me and still run me over, I would have been really pissed off!!!!!!"

fair dinkum some people deserve a lobotomie for Xmas !!

How's this but - the young fuckstick who reversed his Hilux flat-bed ute out of his driveway at *warp speed 10*, actually said to me when I was lying on the road "......I'm really sorry mate, we saw you coming round the corner, but I just thought you would ride around the back of me...."

:x :x :x :x pinheaded little fucker, I wanted to rip his head off, but the ambo's were still trying to deal with 2 wrists on 1 arm....... :?

After many years sans bike I've been back on the road 2 and a half weeks and I have to say I'm astounded at the number of fuknukles I've seen in that time. I make eye contact with them and shake my head in a sad, knowing fashion. I figure there has to be some embarrassment when they realise that someone else knows they're a total tool. Just need to watch out for the shoot the messenger syndrome.

The one I saw yesterday couldn't cope with eye movement. Some drivers just don't look/see/care and it won't matter if it's one bike or a hundred. Mind you, Ive seen a couple of bike riders doing stupid stuff too.
