My el-cheapo car does not have cruise control and 8hrs of driving back from adelaide and 4 police encounters later I decided I need one
Been looking at AP60 for $250. Is there any better options ?

Why would I buy a great fast car only to have it set at cruise then

I've got one on my XF andi. It was ok.....
For the week or two it lasted. Probably really good if you can manage a decent enough way to hook it up to the throttle cable, I couldn't.

Thanks, I just bought AP60 + clutch switch option at $239. They got a big sale happening at autobarn. Not bad as there are some at ebay fro $249 not including shipping and clutch switch.
Can't wait for tomorrow

Wohoo! Got it working and it worked better than I had expected. I've used late-model schmick commodore cruise control before and this $239 thing is waaay better. It just doesn't run off even going uphill..downhill... Wonder if I can fit this onto the bike
Should have read the installation manual addendum first tho ...

So this fits on an Auto I take it? what's the Clutch switch thingy? I'm thinking of putting one in my EB Falcon it's an Auto,
I got busted Christmas last year in NZ for 117 in a 100 zone, I was pissed off 'cos I wasn't even in a hurry! just cruising along in my Olds 4WD and didn't realised I'd slipped past the 100km/h until I saw the cop throw on his lights! then I had the dilemma of do I show my Aussie or NZ licence! I decided to go with the NZ one just in case he was a VERY Diligent cop and the points followed me back to Oz on my Aussie licence

at least he was nice enough to warn me of his two mates cruising the road another 50 or so Km ahead of us (as he wrote out my NZ$120 fine

)

Auto would be even better since you don't need clutch switch! The only switch needed is the brake switch which is included in the package anyway.
Maybe a cheaper version (AP50) will work too but I wouldn't fuss the $30 difference.

Did you fit it yourself? was it difficult? do you have a website for the kits? is this too many questions?
