it was the MachIII that was termed ..the Widowmaker
back in the days (about '75) when I had one

especially the Series1 which was all drum brakes
and skinny cross plies (100 section rear)
for a bike that did 120 mph

...murderous pharkers they were

cheers

mmmm ZX12 hey? A.A. Cause it drinks like a fish!

DWD- (Dog with Diarhea-spell) cause it drags its arse on the ground!

The enterpirse- for obvious reasons, although the 14 most likely takes that monica now.

Salad dodger- Cause it could do with a diet!

Terry- Tear is tyres off!

Just off the top of my head.....I'll come back to it!

Ditch Finder ??? or is that just me and lucky ?

It is and always will be the the 12, an ELR is an ELR, a ZZR is a ZZR.
It was Rocket science when a 10 was a 9.
The large tackle is more a comment on the rider than the bike, or is that just me 8)

the Falcon is nice, but it was nobbled together and 12s aren't.
A mako ? Whats the fastest shark ?
nah a 12s a 12.

Whats a name for a gentlmen (hooligan)s carriage ? a black missle ? Some sort of bird that fucks japanese falcons (busas) would be cool, peregrine sound sus'.
Any Ornotholigists out there...

And my 12 didnt drag its arse on the ground Strika, it was nose down ars up, even more so after the excursion

thats not bad, not bad at all........its nearly as big as a bus  , but somehow, *magically*, it can run rings around smaller bikes !!! *satisfied grin* :D . Yes, I like "The Magic Bus"
...The large tackle is more a comment on the rider than the bike, or is that just me ..

I also like "The Ponderous Barge", "OJ" (think about it), "King Kong", or perhaps even "Orca" - its a bit of a *killer* whale eh ??

If I was still on the gear, it would be called "Starship Benterprise" !

Kwakka 9 - The Original & The Best z900 from 1972-1976.

Well I might have got the Barra connection wrong once before but I STILL think there is a likeness around the forehead region to its fish namesake myself myself, no matter where the nickname originated.

I like magic bus... but whenever I hear 9 I think Z9
