Recall as a younger bloke riding an XL250, my first on road bike, on long touring type rides and thought it was pretty cool but have since learned that maybe the XL wasn't the best choice for touring.
Doing Darwin to Sydney on a 30 year old Yormaha that he just picked up and knows bugga all about (at first anyway) is either adventurous or crazy depending on your view of life I guess. Has to deal with a few *situations* too.
Either way a pretty good read.
