This guys locked up the rear by the looks of things but has hit the ground hard when he was virtually up straight.
Is it that easy to go down on a bike when locking up the rear ?

He's shit himself and grabbed a big fistful of front and it's just locked and slammed him on his head. This is the bloke you don't want around you on a ride day.

AAAhhhh cheers, that makes a bit more sense, wounder if that bit of dirt that he rides over just before he falls had something to do with it too. (it looks like dirt but you wouldnt think there would be dirt on a race track)

He was past the dirty part of the track, looks like he thought he was going to fast and over cooked it on the brakes, lost the front end. You would think the guy might have stopped to see if he was alright tho.

Its pretty easy to slipstream someone (like this) and turn up at your braking point 20k faster and 2m off line. Fear (survival reactions) do the rest....
Prob claimed something went wrong with the bike before they told him they had it on camera

i have no idea how people lock the front wheel solid like that .. it is SO SO easy to feel how much grip you have from the front under brakes! well i think so anyways..
just look at how hard the camera bike has to plant the brakes to avoid the guy! so i dunno what the hell has happened there
hes definately shat himself and just planted the brake .. why :S i dunno.

Lesson in target fixation for ya there as well ...
I think the guy on the bike in front has panicked and grabbed a bunch of front brake, considering that the guy with the camera could just about have braked to dead stop before the corner shows that they were no where near an extreme braking point either ... the fallee must just be a bit of a silly bugger in a crowd.

Not allowed to stop on the track....they tell ya if sum1 comes off the Ambo will sort em out..the safest thing u can do is ride back to the pitts and alert officials so they can attend....
the camera bike does a good job of avoiding
a.the fallen guy
b. his bike

Yeah im with you on this one,i reckon he locked the rear and lost it and all the haze was from his rear tyre, not dirt on the track?
