Yep, Gonzo was heading down that path not that long ago... The W650 is learner legal.
Nice place though and definately worth the visit...

I think that I would manage to find the time although the tank is very small and would limit the range.

so true - when my mate was building this rig, the tank/seat unit were specific flat-tracker accessories sourced from the US. He hoped it would hold enough juice to do 1 lap of our normal everyday Sunday ride in the local twisties........
On the first run, it made the entire loop..........and ran out of juice at the bottom of his driveway !!

a grand total of 65km .....not much, but fine for blatting around the local burbs, and the odd Sunday run.

Yeah, there's just something about what Deus does to a W650... They come out looking awesome. But once you've bought a stock 650 and then deck it out with the ol'skool bling, you're getting pretty close to the money for a brand new Bonniville or Thruxton
Anyway, it's certainly a good place to stop for a coffee and a tyre kick. I was there last weekend and they told me they're doing morning rides from there on the weekends... I assume that's on the Sunday when the shop's closed.

65km, man thats a trip to work and back plus warmup bike time & a 300m detour via the petrol station on the way home.

Then you've only got to go through the same process on them to make em run the way God intended... carbs, pipes etc. OH and that Steve McQueen number plate, gotta have that

its not very far at all really eh ? The tracker is mainly a Sunday bike, for normal commuting, old mate has a R80GS Paralever, and it cops a hell of a flogging !! Great all-rounder that bike.....
He also a an R90/6 with a 38-litre Hoske tank

now THAT can kick out to about 600km between fills !!!

Don't forget the dirt ramp and the barbed-wire fence in the front yard... Just for the authentic look when you leave the house in the morning
