Well seeing as there have been a few people have been doing some resto work on there bikes I thought it was time to start mine. It would have been finished this weekend but a knee injuiry managed to put a dampener on that.

Anyway a couple of progress pics, and Madkaw thought his fairings were bad...

Its original guise, painted matt black with a spray or 5 :D to get it thought rego and onto the road.

All the bits lined up ready to be undercoated, (thanks Damon for your help with fixing the damage).

Starting to get them in undercoat and ready for colour.

I'll post up more pics as things get done. Unfortunately I'm looking for somewhere to spray the colour as I have been outed from my garage due to the fumes :? go figure.....

All I can say is that from about 10m it looks great untill you get up close, to say I'm not 100% happy is prob an understatement, no major problems just a few little ones, like painting the vent on the top fairing green instead of white and a few marks in the paint.

All thats left to do now is apply the decals in a couple of weeks and get my hands on so carbon bits I've been waiting on.

Looks fantastic Frank...

The hole at the front looks good in Green..

And don't worry about the marks, I'm sure they'll buff out.. Thats what my painter told me...

Bike looks great. A few imperfections is nothin to worry about. Bug guts will cover that.. 8)
