Alright, i just read a thread on another forum from a person with an er-5 who had his bike tagged and is *PISSED* about it. Not because someone was nice enough to leave a sticker on his bike still attached to the backing paper underneath the tank lid flipper, or wedged between the seat and the tank. it was STUCK to his ducktail.

This is not on for a number of reasons,
1) what if the owner of the bike isn't interested in ksrc?
2) the owner might not want to put a sticker there.
3) it could screw up the paint or leave a mark after it is removed if the owner decides to remove it.
and most importantly
4) They get pissed off and blame us as a group for any of the above and never give us a second look in, or hate us for what is really a shit reason and should never have happened in the first place.

In future if someone wants to tag a bike, remember to just put it between the tank and seat, or have it under the tank keylid or somewhere else that they'll notice easily.

Having said that, there is also a slight possibility that some numbnuts passed said er-5 after they were tagged and stuck it on, that's pretty shit, but alas thats something we can't really eliminate unfortunately.

It's pretty lame. I know in other threads you've discouraged actually sticking them on, but I think the admins etc really need to make it known that it is unacceptable to actually stick a sticker on. Leaving it something on the bike, yeah, ok, but not putting it on.

Wait till someone goes postal at you putting a sticker on and you'll all be fucked. Far less the police starting to be involved. The person regarding this post who was tagged is likely to go to the cops and complain.

Way to make yourselves look like an arse.

thats a reason i was thinking this should be made a sticky in "general", at least for a little while if not permenantly.

What individuals do with stickers has nothing to do with us. AMCN give out stickers at the GP and Superbikes as do half the teams, riders, manufacturers of spark plugs etc. What happens with those stickers is not the responsibility of the organisations that hand them out.

Any suggestion that KSRC as a group or the admins of KSRC are responsible is simple foolishness. It's like saying that Wattle are responsible for people painting graffitti.

The actions of these thoughtless individuals is a moral and ethical issue they need to work out for themselves.

and its been discussed on here many a time.

If we recieve complaints and / or someone is found to be defacing property with KSRC stickers, they will be removed from the group.!

(if it is someone from the group, don't foget we give out a lot of these..)

I think we are ALL ( OK maybe not Neka ) adult enough to know that sticking stickers on other peoples bikes is wrong. What's to say that it was one of our members anyway Someone could have put it in the right spot and someone else walking past may have removed and stuck it elsewhere. As for admin being responsible for it is silly . I some how ended up with a Toy Run sticker on my car does that make MRA responsible I think not

Actually been menaing to ask about the ethics/modus poerandi of tagging. Have tagged a few bikes, always only Kwakas, are we accepting ther religions? Are we accepting cruisers?

And alyways kept backing paper on my tags too.

One day, I got home, went to have a crap and found that someone had put a KSRC sticker on my left butt cheek.

This left my right butt cheek bare, and leaving my body uneven from left to right, causing a inbalance.

This caused me to lean to the left, hitting my head on the toilet roll holder and knocking myself out.

Hence, I ended up after some quick cosmetic surgery with a red rectangle mark on my left buttock cheek, a lump on my knoggin and I was very pissed off with Neka to say the least.

However, I did not find dave, jason or dan responsible for where the sticker had ended up.

I hope this has provided a valuable lesson for all reading here.. It taught me one thing. Don't sleep on your stomach at a KSRC doo & make sure the loo roll holder actually has loo roll on it (softens the blow).

PS. I did however find the 20 cents neka left me useful, I bought a lolly from the supermarket from one of those vending machines.

I'm pretty sure that I placed the sticker under the keyhole flap of the beer taps at the Isle of Wight hotel in Cowes...
