Yeah I think its alright. I presume that's the version for the 10. Is it a bit shorter than the oval ones?

I do like the look of the Oval jobby though

i voted no likey, coz the carbon bit looks funny on the end of the ti can.

if it was all c/f than very much likey.

seen one on a Z cut 10cm short, looked pretty good too.

I went no likey too, agree with c/f bit at the end of a Ti pipe, also reckon that opinion might change to see it on a bike rather than as a stand alone pipe...

Nah, the picture isn't the exact one for the 10, so I'm not sure if it's any shorter.

The carbon looks heaps better in the flesh, but I don't know how long it will last. I'll see if I can dig up a photo of the full carbon, but it's a bit bitsy too.

I got quoted $535 USD to have this (carbon hex slip on) shipped to my door from superbikesupply (The US one not the aussie one). But if I get any cash to spend on my bike it will be to sort out the suspension first.

If you are after something like this, join up to the zx-10r forums if you havent already and ask for the best price delivered to straya in the vendor forums and let the seppo bastards compete for your sale :)

But if you splash out on it mick, I will be interested in taking your titanium slip on off your hands if the price is right ;)

Believe me mate, you wouldn't want it even if I had the option...

I've seen people part with loads of money to alter their bikes and usually they never seem to run right afterwards with them spitting, popping and generally backfiring which is really annoying if you're behind them.

So you drop $6-800 on a can and then you need a Power Commander for $400 plus installation, rejetting etc etc etc and for what?

When you can use all the power as supplied with the standard bike to full advantage by all means go for the mods but until then the bucks would be better spent on safety gear, diet courses and track days.

Of course this may ruin my chances of picking up a nice, unused Ti can for a ZX9r for $30 in the future but that's life.

You could just put the money somewhere safe and use it towards next years ZX-10 of course.
