Real Seat cowl

Hey guys,
i have been doing some hunting now for a few days and i can't seem to locate anyone that has a ZX636 06 model rear seat cowl in green for sale, i mean its a brand new 636 and no dealer seems to be able to get there hands on one!!
anyone know of any dealers or places which i could pick 1 up ??

i didnt have problems getting a seat cowl for my last bike from kawasaki (05 Z750). cost was about $210
i know the 05 Z750 seat cowls were the same as the 04 zx6 but not sure about the 05/06.
i havent bothered and probably wont bother getting one for my zx6.

i didn't know there where 2 different types ?? i would perfer an original but just a rear seat cowl which is good quality is wat i am after, that looks good!

Just go in and order it silly....
They wont have them in stock, but they can order them in.... will take a few days to arrive...

Well, follow Stereo's advice (I never thought I'd say that!
) if you want the original Kawasaki seat cowl.
If you're interested in some aftermarket ones, check Ermax.co.uk for a nice looking cowl (Frozzie can give you a quote on these in AUD). Alternatively, check eBay. Every second week there's one or two different styles of seat cowl for the '05-'06 ZX6R.

I never realised they made all different designs. I reckon i will just stick with the stocko kawa one. Thanks for passign that on tho. Mr Stompy!!
Kawasaki australia still would sell them on there stock list ??? cause my kawa dealer told me all they can get is an 02 model ?? and i find that all a bit odd!

your kawa dealer is full of shit.
how come there is later model zx6's/10's than that getting around with genuine seat cowls on em?
i got the one on the Z750 i had through Sydney City Motorcycles.
took a couple weeks to get it in and it cost $200.
Maybe if you call one of the larger dealers on the mainland they can find you one and post it over.

i don't think yer wrong there! i maen they are the authorised dealer for kawasaki in Hobart and they are the only one and they reckon looking at hte parts list there is no 05/06 model Rear Seat cowl which i find Very hard to believe seeing as its basically the current model!
but yeah i am gunan ring a few places on the mainland for it! and i want an original!!

my local shop couldn't find the genuine seat cowl for my 05 zx6, so i got the part number off the US website. once i gave them that they ordered the right one.
this should be the one for yours:

I got mine thow MCA for a 05 636. took about 1 month as there where non in AUS at the time.
