Anyone out there got any pics of Yanagawaws bike from the 1997 series.
He had number 8 on the front. I have searched everywhere on the net and can only come up with all the other years. Doing a restoration of one of these bikes and was looking for some detailed pics.

Your in luck...

I have a motorcyle news article from Jan 98 that has comparison between Yanagawas 97 zx7rr and Scott Russels YZF750.
It has some stripped down pics and quite a bit of info..

Unfortunately, until my ADSL is reconnected, I can't upload pics...

MadKaw, thanks for the reply. I think the pics you have and the ones I have are the same. Mine are from the the program from the phillip island round in March 98. It has the comparison between 5 of the bikes. Mine don't state the photographer. Does yours? This would really help as I'm looking for more of the same bike.

thanks a lot

Wouldnt the bike still be very very similar though? The ZX7RR didnt seem to change much....

Stereo, youre right. I think the bikes look very similar. The frames I have are 96 and 97. The forks are the same as in the photos but mine have 3 sets of holes (3rd set for carbon disks). The reason I was looking for 97 photos was that all the photos I took at Phillip Island (98) show radial calipers.
1997 seems to be hard hard one to get photos of. Gold and Goose haven't come up with anything yet but are looking.

Thanks for helping. I'll have a look at some 98 photos from other tracks. They seem to swap parts everytime they bin a bike.
