Hi gang,

i want a bag for the back of the gpx250r

priced a ventura bag/rack from dealer and it was $300.

i wont be keepng the gpx for another year so dont really want to spend that much on an item i cant carry onto the next bike.

Is there a bag that can still be positioned on the pillion seat and still be secured safely?

I dont want anything big ....just to pack set of jeans tops for trips out of town with mates.

I looked at a tank bag but they just seem to get in the the road

Ideas?

I just use a back back with an occy strap. It's great it will go on the tank, pilion seat or on the back like it's supposed to. Very universal too

Bag $20
Occy strap $15 for 10 at the markets

I have a Ventura Bag that clips into a "base thingo" that hugs the pillion seat. I got a small one that un zips and expands to hold heaps. Holds a change of clothes, shoes and a make-up bag, basically all the essentials for a girl. The bag simply clicks off and you can leave the base behind securely. Set me back $100 from Bikemart.

They do come in bigger sizes, the only issue I have is when its at full capacity it gets bloody hard to swing your leg over without looking like a fool.

Ive used an rjays tail bag >>

http://www.rjays.com.au/home/products/l ... bag-t1.jpg

its ok if you dont want to put too much stuff in there.

i packed mine up for the ride from syd to Phillip island and it lasted till the toll booth on the M5 (about 40ks) till the plastic clips broke.
admittedly i had a lot of stuff in it.

im not recommending it but if you are after something cheap and you dont want to load it up real heavy it should be ok.

I'm glad you asked, Dont pay $300 for a ventura rack when I'm supplying the "HOFFLUGGAGE 3000" for only $199.00 , WOW.
New and improved with non-slip and supple base to protect that paint.

If you order in the next 15 minutes I will colour code it to your bike absolutely free (provided you have a black, blue or british racing green bike)..

PM me for purchases....

everyone seems to have missed it's versatility too, can have it open facing back of rider or top facing up too, could even probably be used as a milk crate if push came to shove...

you missed the most obvious......................

Ponti can use it to see over the fence at PI
