Does anyone else remember watching mad max (the original) for the first time and needing gooses z ?

'One day when I grow up' kinda stuff that for me at least.

Closest I ever got to owning one was part shares in a drag bike.

Go and rent the movie and while you watch it imagine how cool that bike was at a time when honda fours were the norm. I think those early 9's started a thing for kwaka, "if we build it, it has to be the fastest, it has to handle sweet and be nice to look at... and it has to be still fast and nice to look at years after it's time has gone."

/disgracefully shows his age.

Yes, there are a few of us around here that are a bit partial to good ole' Max and his good mate Jim Goose........

Desi from the Z Owners in Victoria is one bloke who has built his own Goose-replica Z1000, it featured on the Mad Max 25th Anniversary run out to Cowes a couple of years ago. There is a gallery on the Z Owners site http://www.zowners.com.au

That shot of Jim outside MFP HQ is my avatar on the ZX12R site.......wish we had avatars here.......

And what was that? Too drunk?

Yes the MadMax movies were great, and I was born in the late 70's so age has nothing to do with liking those movies IMHO.

Ah.... I can still hear Goose yodelling.......
