De Puniet. Verdict?
Anyone want to jump to conclusions on De Puniet? We've had him for nearly a full season now. Does he deserve a second?

possibly not,, but he has had a few unfortunate races.. bike problems a couple of times, clipped at the start, off and out meaning he hadn't even been able to run a full race.. makes it hard.. Can't be any worse than Hoffman to be honest.. So they either keep him give him 1 more year or get someone with more experience who wants to prove something and go balls out...
I just wish they'd run a 2nd team... can only be baby steps in advancement with 1 race team, 1 development team, etc, etc...

Gobert's finished. He'll never have the opportunities he used too, and he isn't fast enough anymore.
As for Westy, I don't see him getting into the premier class either.
Personally I'm kinda disappointed with De Puniet. He's lost his all out attitude. I remember watching him in 250s. It was go for gold or throw the bike down the road trying.
Don't know what other real options exist though, I expect kwaka to keep him next year.

i dont think hes done much at all...ussually i got a super great idea for this kinda thing...but McCoy's already had a go.... no1 else i think is worth trying, cept maybe Casey or Chris as long term, but i doubt either would go... Maybe Barros for a return?? but hes a bit old..maybe Corser?? but he isnt doin that well this yr neway, and if Baylistic couldnt win ona duke...who knows??

Randy had a few goes at it earlier in the season and fell off plenty and he seemed to have plenty of ability on a 250 last season so i dont think its a lack of ability on his part.
Maybe he could do cosmetic comercials or something
looks like he has been into the cucumbermilk
.
Seriously kawaski need a satelight team with their own engineeering shop and a good budget because the riders think top ten is a good result because they didnt fall off rather than a win being a good day at the races.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

He is still very young. He did good things in the 250s and
lets face it there are not many other options considering Kawasaki's
lack of budget. They're budget is too small to attract big names so they will have to develop. Changing every year does not help. He is far better than Hoffman but I would have liked them to have kept Pitt.
Toesland may be a good option but I can't see him leaving Honda.
I know this will upset many people and it even hurts typing it but Biaggi would have been a good option before he signed with Suzuki.

When's Rossi's contract up for renewal?
Of course Kwaka doesn't want to spend the $ for someone like him alas despite the fact it will move a shitload more bikes than they currently move, our prob with Kwaka is unlike Yamaha, motorbikes are just yet another side industry to all the other machinery they make...

What part of it hurts typing did you not read. I am not a fan of little Max but he can ride and has some experience.Neka79 wrote:firstly...i didnt realise he was 19...shit they need a long-termer..maybe he's the one??ZXR750 wrote:He is still very young.
