More Short Info...

I just got back from my ride to Sydney, and had an awesome time. Didn't realise those roads were so great, otherwise I'd be doing more of it, like I will be in the future. But anyways, some interesting things happened while I was away....
I swear to god that my bike is lower now. It now has 15,000 on the clock, and I'm assuming that it has finally "bedded in" from being new. Don't know if this actually happens or not, but its my best guess, and its certainly what it feels like.
What's also happened is that I've become way more confident than I was. So much so, that I've asked my buddies to wind the preload up for me a bit. Its currently down so low that it handles like a complete pig (I've been told, never ridden another bigger bike myself to compare). Haven't actually done this yet, but, here's what we're gonna do....
When its time for a new rear tyre, we're going for a lower profile to cut another centimetre off, then we're winding up the preload to where it should be. Overall, the bike should end up about the same height as it is now, maybe just a little taller, and I'm feeling confident enough to handle that now, although I'm still gonna have trouble movin it around. That's always going to be the case, I'm over that one.
I've been concerned about how low the bottom of the fairing is to the ground too, cause I occasionally scrape over speed humps, and that's scary!
Before this idea, and before the trip even, there was talk of rebuilding the suspension, but I really didn't wanna be messing with it. So..... I'm hoping that this plan actually works, and don't see any reason why it shouldn't....
