When it's a still night, or the wind blows from a certain direction, I get the occasional sound filtering into my office! I live just off douglas Parade in williamstown, and almost under the West Gate Bridge. When I get the right conditions of a night I am sometimes treated to the delights of guys n gals on sports bikes with loud pipes, caning the christ outta there bikes both down off the western side of the westgate bridge, and also, going to or from that Motorcycle Mecca that is Williamstown via Douglas Parade!
I just heard someone on very crisp sounding bike going to redline in 3 gears along the Pde!! Sounded awesome!! Can you hear it too Greg?????

(No he's not here, he unfortunately lives round the corner, it's why my beer fridge has a lock

)

Ehhh I live in St Albans.....
Can't bloody sleep at night with all this noise.
If it isn't Mr R1 showing that front tyres wear less when they're in the air (but apparently Chapel St is a "long" ride, needs mum to make him a souvlaki to go for the trip) ....
Or Mr fully sick and his vn 5 litre....
Or Mr ricer and his blow off valve.....
Or Mr Plod off to peel one of the previous off a power pole....
Or Mr I've just come back from Adelaide and I'm coming up to the first set of traffic lights so I better sit on the Jake brake for 5 kilometres before hand......

That would be yourself Mina, 2 strokes and done?

Fwiw I live across the road (literally) from the Kodak factory which last week had a crane and wrecking ball slamming crap out of it's chimney and that's in between industrial jackhammers.
We're talking jackhammers on treads like a Caterpillar here, not these little pissy air pressure jobbies, and I knock off work 4:30am so trying to sleep when they fire up at 7am is a pain!!!
