Yep you probably guessed it. I have been on hold with VIC ROADS to make an appointment to inspect the bike to get it registered for 15 minutes. Then after all that, they tell me they need a licence number which I didn't have handy, so then had to ring back and wait in the que for another 15 minutes. Finally got through again, and then get told that the first available apointment is not till Tuesday next week. So no riding the 9 this weekend. :( Probably a blessing in disquise, as I have a wedding to go to on Saturday.!!! 8)

You should have tried calling MYOB the day after they release the new patches for this financial year

7:59 - Recorded Message - "Please call again after 8am"
8:00 - Engaged Signal
8:01 - Recorded Message - "All lines are currently busy, please try again later"
8:02 - Woohoo! It rings! Put in the queue.
10:47 - Someone answers.
10:48 - "Yeah, we know about that problem, and we're writing another patch"

Sounds like VicRoads and the RTA have a lot in common. Try talking to a real person in a motor registry in NSW, it's near bloody impossible and then when you do get a bone bag on the other end there's a better then even chance they'll have no friggin' idea about what you want to know.

I will admit, that once through to a human, it was a most pleasant experience. Kristy :D was very nice indeed. Spoke well, was well manored, had common sense and nothing was an issue to her. The booking only took a few minutes and was well explained as the process was conducted. Couldn't fault her except for one thing. She said no to dinner

Surpising as it may seem I fought the compelling impulse to ask for WNK05 per your initial suggestion  and went for the ZX-105, it being a zx10 and an 05 to boot.

When you're up here at the end of Sep I'll have to shout you a beer for your suggestions.

Shit mate.....never realised how worthwhile posting those ideas up was.......A beer hey!! Top stuff. :D

We should organise a KSRC catch-up during the week or so I am up. I would have loved to have last week, but I had shit on workwise every night except one, and that night I was in bed asleep at 9pm!!!

I arrive the 27th. And am in Syd till the 5th. I usually stay in Parramatta, as it's central to pretty much everything. Good food down Church st area now too!!!

I could even ride my bike to the catch up!!! Provided I can find somewhere to securely store it!!!!!! Good as a nudge?
