Z750 Brake Lever Play

Alright,

Front brake lever on my Z750 has a heap of movement in it.

I've adjusted the lever using the rotational device on the top, and it's still giving me a heap of movement.

Note that this movement is not play, when you pull in the lever the brakes are operational, it just takes a bit more of a pull in slow ya down.

In essence, from a non-pulled position, to a completely braking stop position is more than I want. How can I tighten this up?

Sounds like a symptom of something going Pear shaped.

Check the Pads & if they are OK change the Brake fluid champ.

Let us know how it goes.

Bike only has 5500kms on it, and hasn't been ridden hard. :(

I've read somewhere that the Master Cylinders on the Z750./1000 are crap, and according to riderforums.com, are prone to the symptoms that i have.

Going to try and bleed the brakes and see how that goes.

Who want's to help :P

Gonna go down and have a chat to em about what deal they can do me as I'm buying a heap of stuff as well.
