Does anyone recommend any mechanics on the Gold Coast in Queensland. I have a 05 ZX6R.

just for the record ... i know powerhouse has done all the servicing on my 636 and mapped it (goes like a rocket) and there isnt anything wrong with it ... (that was all from the previous owner) BUT i wont be going there again i dont think .. they made a perfectly awesome mess of my 250, scratched the tank, threaded a bolt and just left it sit on the hole (it was the bolt holding the tank good going guys) and fucked it up so badly it was missing and carrying on if u gave it any stick, had to take it back and leave it with them for a week and they seemingly sorted it ... then .. it was still fucking up .. so i took the advice of a mate and changed the sparkies and hello .. fixed it , and all that cost me hard earned $$$
so its up to u , i guess we all have good and bad experiences with different places .. just fair u know the good (my 636) and the bad (the issues with my 250)
again it could have different people working there now ? ? (that was over a year ago i think)

I've used this guy a couple of times since Phil Rowen left the coast and he seems ok. Realistic rates and he comes to you.

I used Steve from Powerhouse at nerang on a recomendation and I was very happy. I'm a mechanic myself so I am fussy. They fitted an ignition advancer+jet kit and dyno'd my bike. No probs here.

Yeah LAE is definitely a good place to go if you can get to the Northside. He does a lot for bike racing, road and drags, and these guys would not use him if he wasn't good.
