so you are saying that this is like a garage that is not at your own house?
If that is the case, it seems damned expensive.... and you shouldnt need additonal insurance if your bike is insured (providing it is a lockable location).

Could you not alter your insurance, and park it at a mates place.
As many insurance compaines ask where the bike is kept over night.
And pay him some of the $100-$150?
Or how about you get one of these

The price does seem a bit steep for what you get.

Hell, I would let you park it in my garage for $50 a month... providing you dont trash my garage every time you come over to get it...

yeah some place in hungtindale i think called kennard self storage like 3m x 2m size for $150 pcm and then $30 security and plus insurance $$, just thought it's too much, but it's 24 hr access
and some place in morrabbin only during bussiness hour, and it's only $99 per month + $150 for the whole year insurance, it's got a roller door too
because i rent my own place like a 1 bedroom unit and we share the car port and at the moment i'm occupying 2 car parks for my car and the bike and even though it's got front gate and car park gate, i still feel insured about my bike in the car park area, so thinking to put somewhere safe and close and not too expensive......

can you not park it infront of your car? Would only use the single space then.
The place I am moving out of tomorrow, has only had a single garage, and I've made do for the past 6 months just parking it as close as I can to the wall and my roomate can still fit her car in fairly easily.

mate its a good idea..but when u want ur bike..and its a 15 min walk to get it..and ur running late as it is....or ur mates call and say "be ready in 10 min" ..or u gotta drive to the bike park, then swap vehicles.....oh its a pain in the ass..i use to do it...for abt 2 months before i got jack of it....
i just park the bike in the tiny backyard with a tarp over it...but then again i looked at things like where i'd put my bike when i leased the house...
are there better options??
wish i had $150 a month to blow on bike parking...

I am pretty sure that normal lockups around here can be had for around $12/week, and a bike should fit in one. Seems dear to me...but, y'know, country hick and all...
