Similar to what they do in NZ twice a year... they have two famous road races, raced in two towns in the waikato... They are part of the NZ GP season... fantastic to watch... one of the races actually requires the riders to go over some railway lines.... bloody awesome!

You are right, it is outside the waikato.... but most kiwis think of anything between auckland and wellington to be the waikato....

The other race is at Thames...

Yeah that is a great race, have seen some dvds of that stuff too.

IOM is still king though. It really would be good to have something like that here. Dangerous as hell though...
